We couldn't resist the beckoning warm spring temperatures. It's been only a few days, but things look much different.  All the snow is gone, except for the dirty piles over by the hemlocks.  Chappy has prepared a ramp on the right side of picture...for the cement truck's access to the forms.  The sand in the foreground in the edge of the driveway as it curves in front of the dome.  If you peer real hard, you can note a few orange dots on rocks in the darker loam.  These designate the approximate edge of the dome itself.  The flag in the center is the approximate center of the dome.

The above view faces roughly north, from atop a huge pile of loam.

The above view faces roughly south, from the hemlock on the hillside.  You can see the mountain of loam next to the utility pole.  The smaller piles on the right side are a mix of snow, ice and loam.
